For now I'm in safety. I've managed to block off some areas inside the building, unfortunately that also makes it difficult for me to get out. Right now, however, that's not much of an option.
I can see them from the window; stalking the entrances to this and other buildings in view, likely looking for more flesh - what have we done?

As far as I'm aware no one else has stayed within the building. Many took initiative and left before this outbreak, I just hope they fled not only the company but also the state.
I don't know how far this infection has spread, at least Bakersfield by now I assume, but it certainly wont be long in taking over the whole of California if something isn't done soon.
I fear those who knew enough about the experimentation are dead, thus no one on the outside will know of what now lies in wait around here. As soon as our current on site test subjects broke into the building many who tried to stop them were tragically murdered, including my James. I stood helpless as her was ripped apart by them...I should have found some way to stop it but others seemed to adopt a form of the virus themselves, continuing the chaos, the place was a mess, under attack. I wanted to help but I just couldn't. I feel awful, leaving many behind, running for safety, but what would anyone else have done?
...I should have helped...

I am now in possession of numerous research files from the higher ranked workers. There isn't any restriction now. The testing excelled even further than I was aware of and under many illegal circumstances. If I'd known of these actions I would have escaped long ago when I could. As far as I was aware authorities had approved the testing on animals as safe and so could be moved onto human subjects...this wasn't the case.
I've been studying the different formulas each of the subjects were injected with hoping to find what has caused this effect. If an antidote or a vaccine could be found we will have an advantage to solving this problem before it spreads too far. I'm worried about the time, office phones and fax machines are giving no reception and so I can not receive any help from those outside Bakersfield. Luckily I don't have a lack of test subjects...though that worries me.
